BACKGROUND
The project EU Regional Action for Roma Education: Increased Education Support and Opportunities for Roma Students in the Western Balkans and Turkey (RARE), phase II constitutes a second phase of the already-implemented project during 2018–2021 by REF.
During the first phase of the project, education services across Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Turkey involved more than 4,500 Roma children and youth in education activities. The present project continues these results while strengthening inclusion and participation in education.
OBJECTIVE
The project “Increasing Access and Participation of Roma Students in Tertiary Education and Transition to Labour Market through Employability” aims to increase access and participation of Roma students in tertiary education and their transition to the labour market through tutoring, mentoring, internships, and professional development activities.
CONDITION FOR APPLICATION
This is a merit-based academic scholarship for Roma students who are citizens or permanent residents of Albania. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in Bachelor, Master, or PhD programs in state-accredited universities in Albania.
Selected applicants will benefit from mentorship, tutoring, soft-skills workshops, and internship opportunities.

EVALUATION PROCEDURE AND ANNOUNCEMENT
Applications will be evaluated by the project team. Selected candidates will proceed to interviews.

- 0–10 socioeconomic status
- 0–10 motivation letter
- +5 female applicants
- +5 previously supported students (2024–2025)
The top 50 candidates will be selected.
Appeals may be submitted within 3 days via rva@rvalb.org. Responses will be given within 3 days.
Selected students will sign a contract with Roma Versitas Albania.
Participation may be terminated in case of false information, lack of progress, or study abandonment.

Gjatë fazës së parë, mbi 4,500 fëmijë dhe të rinj Romë u përfshinë në aktivitete arsimore në rajon. Projekti aktual vijon këto rezultate duke forcuar përfshirjen në arsim.
QËLLIMI
Projekti synon rritjen e aksesit dhe pjesëmarrjes së studentëve Romë në arsimin e lartë dhe tregun e punës përmes tutorimit, mentorimit dhe zhvillimit profesional.
KUSHTET E APLIKIMIT
Kjo është bursë akademike për studentët Romë që janë shtetas ose rezidentë në Shqipëri, të regjistruar në Bachelor, Master ose PhD në universitete të akredituara.
Përfituesit do të kenë mentorim, tutorim dhe mundësi praktike.
